Responsibilities

The key tasks of a Principal will be to: - provide strong academic and professional leadership to the staff - manage all aspects school administration - ensure high quality in the delivery of the curriculum - exercise judicious control of the finances of the school, ensuring that it operates within budget - communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and the wider community - create a safe and healthy educational environment - punctiliously manage the administration of the school - maintain healthy discipline in the school - develop a caring culture of cooperation and concern for others in the school - ensure that the profile of the school in the community is positive and high - stay abreast of modern trends in education.

Requirements

- 2 to 3 years of relevent experience - excellent inter-personal skills - strong leadership skills - extensive teaching and management experience - strong initiative - ability to motivate staff - excellent written and oral communication skills - capacity to work effectively even when under stress - strong organizational skills - decision-making skills - ability to think strategically, while still paying attention to detail - cultural and other sensitivity - necessary academic and professional qualifications to cope with the demands of the position - good grasp of financial and accounting systems and procedures - awareness and understanding of modern educational theory and practice - information and communications technology skills

Qualifications

Graduation preferably Post Graduation Degree
